Two Worlds
Manufacturers-/Description

Using a bespoke graphics engine, Two Worlds tells the tale of an epic clash between Orcs and Humans that steadily unfolds to provide an over-arching story. Players embarking on the grand quest will find a dynamic world that adjusts to their actions, complemented by a career system that allows incredible freedom in character development. A plethora of side quests accompany the main story and there's a staggeringly large array of items and equipment to collect.

This questing and collecting takes place in a vast environment that offers unprecedented levels of dynamic interaction with both the landscape and non-player characters. Players will be able to set traps for foes and wandering beasts, even to the point of triggering avalanches and other small-scale disasters. The flora of Twin Worlds universe will also be given the dynamic treatment, with trees and plants reacting to the players actions in a surprisingly realistic manner. Transport around the huge world can be done via teleportation spells or on the backs of a wide variety of creatures, from traditional horses and camels to a range of much more esoteric beasts.

Two Worlds also incorporates a complex... [more]

Hints and Tricks

  • At the beginning of the game you should make some levelups by killing wolfs and wild pigs on the plain around the temple.
  • As soon as you've killed them all, you can try to kill the bears too, if you pay attention to his attacks and jump backwards in the moment he stands up for a knock.
  • Collect all plants, fungi, minerals and so on you'll find on your ways. Try to keep approximately 5 to 7 of each kind to have no problems with later subquests. Don't brew items with permanent effect until you're alchemy-level is 10 (and don't brew them with items without a permanent effect).
  • You should do at first the quest of the mage at left after the first village to get the possibility to use teleporters. If you look around the vicinity aside the way, you'll see some Groms and other. Sometimes there's also Magnesite, which you'll need for the following quests of the mage. Don't try to fight the reapers at this time, but run through them.
  • At the beginning of the game it's best to collect robes, quivers and archs only in addition to items you can use yourself. These items aren't such weighty and bring a lot of money in contrast to the most other, if they don't have special features. This way you won't be overloaded after each fight.
  • If you solve the quest for the horse-ranch at the south of the first village, you'll get a horse. In addition to the horse near the first teleporter-quest, you've 2 horses now to save good items. It's useful to keep up to 3 horses in a town to store all the items in a good way (e.g. one for items, one for rings and not old quest items, one for alchemy items). If you put one of the three portable teleporter in front, you can quickly access them.
  • If you're using a horse to explore the map, it's often helpful to descend from the horse for fights. Sometimes it's more useful to run from fight to fight and wheeze for your horse frequently. You can use the horse as good burro and sell the items later in a town/village.
  • Sometimes your horse don't like to run some acclivities (in later game-versions only aside the ways). You can descend from the horse and wheeze it across the the acclivity.
  • Use a arch and shoot some animals in the west of Tharbakin. Each fox-liver will be a very good alchemy item.
  • Poising very strong opponents use some spells to bind them. Very useful are spells like "Dead Hands" or "Poison Cloud", because they're poising directly. You can attack this way enemy by enemy on a way you like (e.g. conjuring creatures for additional damage and distraction).
  • In fights the enemy has archmen, it's best to kill them first or at least bin them to a position. Mostly the archmen cause a high damage and may disarm you. If you cannot kill or bind them, you need to move frequently while fighting, but's difficult to evade all arrows especially if the enemy use multiple-arrows.
  • In later game you should consider carefully when you use the orc camouflage suit, because you can only use it one time (if you don't multiply it with a trainer). As long as you use the camouflage suit the orcs won't attack you and you can move along with them and open their chests. With some aptitude and endurance you can attack smaller groups of orcs at the camp-borders. If you move far away and come back, the other won't attack you. So it's possible the get the experiences from the orcs without fighting a hard way. In addition you can conjure some creatures, which will attack the orcs, but the orcs won't attack you! If you kill the archmen at the sides, you've a high chance that no other orc will notice it.
